L'Ermitage du Grand Bois is a spacious and peaceful estate, situated at an altitude of 650 metres, which makes the summer temperatures of southern France very pleasant. The combination of the fresh air and the calm environment offers an ideal place for a natural, simple and zen holiday... in the middle of the Bois! Calm, intimacy and a change of scenery are guaranteed, as well as serene and rejuvenating nights...
The place literally allows you to go green: a return to the essential, in contact with hundred-year-old trees in the heart of the Drôme Provençale and a stone's throw from the mythical Saoû forest, with its famous 3 Becs!

45 minutes from Montélimar, in the foothills of the Vercors, you can relax by the pool, in the sunny meadow, or on our shaded terraces: natural landscape with a splendid view of the imposing crests, perched and listed villages, organic markets, renowned pure air, excellent for the frail.
Located between Bourdeaux and Dieulefit, the hermitage offers a rich combination of sporting and tourist activities, in the heart of a wild, rich and varied nature: cycling, horse or donkey riding, hiking (GR 965, Chemin des Huguenots, Saoû forest, magnificent geological nature reserve), local markets, art craftsmen, cafés, museums...
