L'ermitage du Grand Bois is an oasis of tranquillity in the middle of nature. Just 45 minutes from Montélimar, it lies in the foothills of the Vercors, in the Drôme provençale region. You can relax by the pool, in the sunny meadow, or on our shady terraces: natural scenery with splendid views of the imposing peaks, listed hilltop villages, organic markets, renowned clean air, excellent for the frail.

Situated between Bourdeaux and Dieulefit, the hermitage offers a rich combination of sporting and tourist activities, in the heart of a wild and varied nature: cycling, horse or donkey riding, hiking (GR 965, Chemin des Huguenots, Saoû forest, magnificent geological nature reserve), arts and crafts, cafés, museums...

You've chosen our cosy, comfortable chambre d'hôte, but we'd also be delighted to welcome you in a cottage, studio, chalet, or in the middle of the woods, in one of our comfortable, fully-equipped Safari tents, or, of course, on a dedicated pitch, with your own equipment.
